Personal Evidence
Laura Merry from Aylesbury:
Employers should be more understanding and not discriminate against a disabled person. There should be better awareness as everyone is different.
Zoe Hallam from Oxford:
Employers are generally very keen to help with any adjustments I need but what they lack is experience. It is always up to me to organise everything I need and while they will help in any way they can, their knowledge of available provision or funding is very limited and I end up doing most of the work myself.
