Friday lunchtime found us at the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre in Birmingham where we spoke to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, care advisors and social care professionals about our investigations, reports and campaigns. It was good to get their feedback on all our activities and also to hear that they would recommend Trailblazers to their clients.
Later on Friday evening we held a regional group meeting at Acorns children's hospice in Selly Oak where ten new Trailblazers led discussions on our cinema documentary and campaign. The group also shared their experiences of access and disability rights matters in the West Midlands.
