Saturday 3 February

North West Trailblazers met at the Holiday Inn Express Liverpool, at the network's first regional meeting of 2013.

Discussing recent activities such as the sports campaign, Removing Barriers, Promoting Independence report and developments in the airlines and housing campaign, individuals had the opportunity to talk about their experiences in more detail whilst meeting new faces.

Future campaigns for the regional group now include looking in more depth at access to music venues such as the Liverpool Echo arena, and improving access to adapted taxis in Lancaster.

North West Trailblazers

Saturday 5th February 2011, 1.00pm-3.00pm

Last Saturday 5th February, Trailblazers from the North West of England gathered for an event at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Piccadilly.

Despite the weather, the meeting was a success with current and new Trailblazers in attendence. Ideas for local and national campaigns gathered momentum with individuals sharing experiences and looking at ways to better the situation

The North West Trailblazers will be holding their second group meeting at the Novotel Manchester Centre, Manchester.

Trailblazers will discuss national campaigns, and work together on local projects, raising awareness on issues in the area.

North West Trailblazers group meeting launch

Friday 5th March 2010

The North West Trailblazers held their first group meeting in Liverpool at the Holiday Inn Liverpool City Centre on Friday 5th March between 2 and 4pm.

The meeting saw Trailblazers in the North West meet up with other to discuss disability rights. Attendees also participated in campaign training, discussed past campaigns and investigations and suggested issues affecting them in their local area.
