YOUR INVOLVEMENT WITH TRAILBLAZERS

How did you first hear about Trailblazers? I was on the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign website one day, and came across the section about Trailblazers. I liked what they were doing and decided to join.

Why did you get involved with Trailblazers?
I got involved with the hope of helping to raise awareness of the many issues that people with disabilities face in society, and working towards finding ways to improve them.

If there was one thing I could change it would be......?
Some people's attitudes towards people with disabilities. I believe that ingrained and misguided attitudes towards disability as a whole make a huge contribution to the negative effects disabled people experience on a day-to-day basis.

Martin Luther King, because he made such a difference by challenging people's perceptions on something that is ‘different.'
