Trailblazers from the North East met and joined forces in Middlesbrough on Saturday 12 May.
Young campaigners from across the area gathered at the Thistle Hotel where they discussed a wide range of subjects including disability hate crime and harassment,accessible housing and adaptations, services at cinemas and WWE wrestling.
In the afternoon Trailblazers Cath McNicol, Carolyn Bean, Jennifer Gallacher, Robert Sleight, Samia Shabir and Christina Humphries had the chance to watch and debate the new film A Life Worth Living: Pushing the Limits of Duchenne.

North East Trailblazers group meeting
Saturday 9th April 2011, 2.30pm - 4.30pm
The Trailblazers met at the Thistle Hotel Middlesbrough to discuss the cinema campaign, and future campaigns in more detail, thinking about how they would see the investigations proceed.

North East Trailblazers group meeting

The North East Trailblazers held their second group meeting in Gateshead at the Gateshead Civic Centre by joining forces with the regional muscle group.
Group members discussed ways they could make a difference in the region.

North East Trailblazers group meeting launch
Friday 19th March
The North East Trailblazers held their regional group launch meeting on Friday 19 March at the Middlesbrough Thistle Hotel in Middlesbrough.
The meeting saw Trailblazers in the North East meet up with others to discuss disability rights. Attendees also participated in campaign training, discussed past campaigns and investigations and suggested issues affecting them in their local area.
