On Saturday 31 March, London Trailblazers joined forces for a new extended regional group meeting at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign Office in Southwark.
The group discussed the progress made in the hate crime and cinema campaign and there were updates on the recent All Party Parliamentary Group meetings.
The campaigners also shared their experiences of house hunting as a disabled person and completed the new housing accessibility questionnaire.
Maisie Essam from King's College London also introduced a piece of research she is undertaking on transport and accessibility in London.

The Trailblazers discussed recent activities, together with national and regional campaigns. The event was a chance to meet new people at the MDC Head Office in Southwark.

London Trailblazers group meeting
Tuesday 18th January 2011, 5pm-8pm
London Trailblazers held their third meeting at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaigns Head office in Southwark.
Discussing the cinema campaign and housing. Guest speaker and Regional Ambassador Mike Moorwood shared experiences, advice and tips on housing.

London Trailblazers group meeting
Tuesday 27th July 2010, 5.30-8pm
On Tuesday 27th July the London Trailblazers held the second in a series of regional group meetings at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign Head Office in Southwark.
The meeting was attended by 12 members of the London Trailblazers group who discussed the recent tourism investigation, which looks at the possible challenges and additional expense when booking holidays at home and abroad.
Sulaiman Khan, the Regional Ambassador for London, delivered a great presentation of his campaign successes so far, and interesting thoughts were brought forward about Trailblazers in the future.
Trailblazers were joined by Rob Holland from SKILL-the National Bureau for Students with Disabilities,who spoke about issues of personal care when going to university. SKILL, together with the NUS, will be writing a guide offering advice for students in the near future.
Nick Clarke from the Disability Law Service charity also attended the meeting, providing useful information about legal services available from the DLS for people throughout the country.

London Trailblazers group meeting launch
Wednesday 24th March 5pm - 8pm
The London Trailblazers held a regional group meeting on Wednesday 24th March at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign offices in Southwark.
The meeting was attended by 10 members of the London Trailblazers group, who shared their experiences of disability discrimination, and developed ideas for campaigns and methods to change their local environment and people's grasp of disability.
