Saturday 9th June 2012
Trailblazers from Kings' Lynn, Diss, Hockley and Colchester met up in Cambridge on Saturday for the first East of England regional group meeting of 2012.
The Trailblazers were also joined by Regional Care Adviser Andrea Russell and Trailblazers project manager Bobby Ancil.
The group, led by regional ambassador Hannah-Lou Blackall, shared their experiences of meetings of the APPG for Young Disabled People, as well as spreading the word on disability sport including wheelchair basketball and boccia.
The group watched the film "A Life Worth Living, Pushing the Limits of Duchenne" presented and produced by campaigner Jon Hastie.

This was the third East of England group meeting which was held at the Dirac Room, Fisher Building, Cambridge University.
The meeting included discussions on current events, future campaigns and what improvements could be made in the East of England.

East of England Trailblazers group meeting
Saturday 30th October, 1.00pm - 3.00pm
The East of England Trailblazers held their second group meeting in Cambridge at The Best Western Gonville Hotel, Gonville Place, Cambridge CB1 1LY.
Group members shared experiences of challenges, discussed recent campaigns and decided on local campaigns for the East of England group.

East of England Trailblazers group launch
Tuesday 18th May 1.30pm - 4.30pm
The East of England Trailblazers launched their regional group at The Best Western Heath Court Hotel, Newmarket on Tuesday 18th March.
The meeting was an opportunity for anyone in the region to meet up with others with similar interests in disability rights. Attendees discussed past campaigns and investigations and events up to this point, and shared experiences and plans for the future.
