2 September 2011 BBC London Underground Report

IMG 3057

Today, I was interviewed by Tom Edwards (Transport & Environment Correspondent from BBC London) to do a follow up report from his previous report with me last August about accessibility on the Underground; specifically, the accessibility to Stratford Station since it's the main station to the Olympic Park (with just under a year to go until London 2012). This was for part of my role as London Regional Ambassador for Muscular Dystrophy Campaign's Trailblazers.

IMG 3057We first took a Tube journey, again, on the Central Line from Woodford (where I live) to Stratford to see what's changed and what still needs improving. Afterward, Tom interviewed me outside Stratford Station with friendly cameraman David, who was the same cameraman that filmed me in August.

Also, Bobby (Trailblazers' Project Manager) arrived once I'd finished and Tom interviewed him too.

Overall, I think it went pretty well.

Stay tuned to BBC London News on Tuesday (06 September 2011) to see the report.

Hi Sulaiman, looks like a productive and eventful day! Look forward to seeing it tomorrow. I am sure it will be available online for people outside the region to see too!
