27 January 2009 Fame! I wanna live forever...

Hey Trailblazers!

Just a quick blog to say thank you to everyone who took part in an interview for us today.  You've helped Trailblazers to get a massive amount of media coverage all across the nation.

As you may know, today was the official press launch for our undercover transport surveys and staff here at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign headquarters have been busy trying to get as many journalists to cover the story as possible.

Thanks to the willingness of Trailblazers from all over the nation to talk to the press and tell them, from a first-hand perspective, why these surveys are so important, we've managed to generate a huge amount of interest in what we are doing.

We've had coverage on the BBC Breakfast programme, ITV News, GMTV and about fifty million regional news programmes, radio shows and newspapers have also picked up the story.

So I'd like to say a great big THANK YOU!  to everyone who took some time out of their day to make this launch as big as possible.  This is exactly the sort of media attention we need if we want to change the way people think about disability.
