20 September 2011 Trailblazers shortlisted for 'Outstanding Contribution' campaigns award
Trailblazers have been shortlisted for the UK Youth Hearing Unheard Voices awards - in the Outstanding Contribution category.
This nomination comes after over three years of committed and successful campaigning from the Trailblazers and we are keeping our fingers crossed for the awards ceremony on 29 November 2011.
Bobby Ancil, Trailblazers project manager said:
It's so good to see everybody's hard work being recognised by UK Youth. We know that we make a difference to the lives of young disabled people, but it's important to see that other groups value our campaigning too. Trailblazers is always looking to get the voices of young disabled people heard by decision makers and through the development of the All Party Parliamentary Group for young disabled people, and our access to cinema campaign we are making sure that happens.
