14 December 2010 Trailblazers secure support of new MP

On Thursday December 8th Trailblazers visited Portcullis House in Westminster where we met with the Blackpool North and Cleveleys MP, Paul Maynard.

Mr Maynard was elected in May 2010 and has supported the All Party Parliamentary Group on Muscular Dystrophy since his arrival in Parliament.

After an extremely constructive meeting, Mr Maynard has agreed to work with Trailblazers and the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign to work towards addrsesing the many issues our network has highlighted over the past two years.

Bobby Ancil, Trailblazers Project Manager said:

We need to ensure that access and inclusion in the UK is taken seriously . With the support of MPs like Paul Maynard Trailblazers can lead the way to ensuring that young disabled people's views are represented fairly, honestly and articulately.
