9 March 2010 Trailblazers team meet with regional ambassador at University of Manchester
Trailblazers team members Bobby Ancil and Tanvi Vyas were delighted to get a taste of university life in the North West when they met up with Lauren West at the University of Manchester last Thursday.
Lauren kindly took time out of her schedule, showing them around the campus and led an accessible tour around the student union, the newly refurbished library and the brand new lecture theatres.
Lauren said:
Although I was unable to attend the North West meeting due to prior engagements, I was glad Bobby and Tanvi took the time to discuss local issues and see my university. I look forward to attending another meeting in the near future.
Project Assistant Tanvi Vyas said:
It was great to see Lauren again, and brilliant that she took the time to show us around the campus. The University has a great combination of old and new buildings. I was particularly impressed with the student union and the new lecture theatres. There is always room for improving access and I have faith that Lauren will speak to relvant people if this is ever required.
