29 January 2010 North East Trailblazers to launch in Middlesbrough
North East Trailblazers Group Meeting, Friday 19th March 2010: 2pm - 4pm, Middlesbrough Thistle Hotel, Fry Street, Middlesbrough, TS1 1HA
The North East Trailblazers will be holding their first ever regional group meeting on Friday 19th March at the Thistle Hotel, Middlesbrough.
The meeting will include a presentation by a local campaigner who has been involved in the Trailblazers campaigns on accessibility in public transport, education and lesiure facilities
The group will also be joined by experienced campaigner and trainer Rosemary Frazer who will be running a campaigns training workshop and offering handy hints on how to change people's minds and make a difference in your area.
The North East Trailblazers group meeting will be the first of what will become regular regional Trailblazers meetings in the North East where campaigners will shape the activities of the network across the region.
The meeting will be a chance for Trailblazers to meet other people who face similar challenges and want to share ideas and experiences, as well as being an opportunity to learn new skills like working with the media and website management.
