1 August 2012 Trailblazers to highlight sports at City Hall during Paralympics

Trailblazers will be joined by some of the leading lights from the world of disability sport at an event held at City Hall in London during the Paralympic Games.2012

The event, hosted by Trailblazers, which will highlight some of the exciting sporting opportunities available to young disabled people, will take place on September 7th from 2-4pm.

Representatives from the Wheelchair Football Association, Interactive, WheelPower and the English Federation of Disability Sport will showcase their sports and discuss how young disabled people can get more involved in sport. The event will also be addressed by Trailblazers sports stars and enthusiasts.

Trailblazers Project Manager Bobby Ancil said:

I know there are lots of Trailblazers who love sport and already play for a local club. However, I'm sure there are many more people who would love to get involved in a new sport but just don't know how to get started. I hope that by holding this event during the Paralympic Games we can help inspire more people to take up sport.

If you would like to get involved and come along please do get in touch:
